Nitin Tomar has emerged as the most expensive player in the players’ auction for the upcoming fifth edition of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL). They bought the new team of the UP team for a huge amount of 93 lakhs. In the early stages of the auction, Manjeet Chillar was the most expensive player. They bought them for the price of Rs 75.5 lakhs, but when the bidder’s bid started in the last phase of the auction, Nitin broke all the records and defeated Manjeet and became the most expensive player.
Manjit was beaten by Rohit Kumar after this. He was joined by Bangalore Bulls at the price of 83 lakhs. K Selvamani too reached near to overtake Manjeet, but Jaipur made his last bid for 73 lakhs.
In the first round, Abojar Mohajemirigghani of Iran, the most expensive sold in foreign players This new defender of Iran has been bought by Gujarat for Rs 50 lakhs in Season 5.
Apart from this, Iran’s kabaddi player Abu Fazal has been bought by Dabang Delhi for Rs 31.8 lakh and has been included in his team. Telugu resident of Rahimi purchased only 29 lakh rupees from Tehran
Khamsam Thongkum, captain of Thailand’s Kabaddi team, bought the Haryana Steelers for Rs 20.4 lakh. U-Mumba has added Rs 20 lakh to Dongjui Hong of Korea, Rs 18.6 lakh to Iran’s Hadi Oshtorok and the same for Jungu of Korea for 8.10 lakh rupees.
Punari Paltan bought Ziaur Rehman of Bangladesh for Rs 16.6 lakh and Takamitsu Kono of Japan for eight lakh rupees. Apart from this, Patna Pirates bought Mohamed Magosdalou of Iran for eight lakh rupees, while in the four new teams for this season, Uttar Pradesh bought Bangladesh’s Suleiman Kabir for 12.6 lakh rupees.
Surjeet, the most expensive defender,
was bought by Bengal Warriors for the Season-5 in the auction for the defender Surjeet Singh for Rs 73 lakh. Surjeet, who was part of the Indian team that won the Kabaddi World Cup last year, will have to strengthen his defense by joining his team. Surjeet is the second most expensive player in the history of Kabaddi League.
