Technology giant Apple has started production of iPhone SE in India. Recently, the company had announced to set up a plant in Bangalore. At present, only the iPhone SE will be installed in this plant and according to the reports it will be available in the market soon.
According to The Wall Street Journal report, currently there will be only a few thousand iPhone production and it will be sold in India for now. The journal has said that the Karnataka State Office has confirmed that the responsibility of producing the first iPhone in India has been assigned to Apple Manufacturer Vistron Corp.
Significantly, the market share of Apple’s device, especially the iPhone, is very low in India. That’s why the company is changing its strategy here. Recently the reports came that the company will launch the online store in the country as there is no single Apple store in India. There are reports of only getting the iPhone SE and Apple Accessories in this online store.
The iPhone 5S, which sells the most in India, has the news of its low price. It can be priced up to 15 thousand rupees in the coming time. And it will also be sold at the online store. According to sources, Apple will now reduce the price of the iPhone 5S offline store so that it can be sold only online.
The biggest question is whether Made in India iPhone SE will be cheap? At the moment, the company has not made it clear and for now, its initial price is 20 thousand rupees.
