SBI Managing Director (National Banking) Rajneesh Kumar said that there was no change in service charges on the withdrawal of ATMs from the general savings accounts. The bank also clarified in its circular that all Savings Account holders will continue to do 8 free transactions from ATMs as before, in which 5 SBI ATMs can be made from ATMs from three other banks. In non-metro cities, such 10 transactions will be free. The only limit for freeing 4 withdrawals from ATM is for the State Bank wide customer and not for all the account holders.
Mobile Wallet will pay users money
In fact, SBI is going to launch a new facility in which money can be withdrawn from the ATM using the bank’s mobile wallet. However, for each withdrawal from ATM through mobile wallet, the bank will charge 25 rupees. SBI Managing Director (National Banking) Rajneesh Kumar said that if the customer has money in our mobile wallet SBI Buddha, then he can withdraw it from the ATM. Apart from this, the customer can either withdraw or withdraw money through Mobile Wallet or Business Correspondent (BC) in mobile wallet. Earlier, these facilities were not available.
Service tax will also be paid on submission
By depositing 1,000 rupees in mobile wallet through BC, the bank will charge a service fee of 0.25 percent and service tax. It would be a minimum of 2 rupees and a maximum of 8 rupees. Apart from this, the service tax (minimum six rupees) and service tax will be charged @ 2.5% of the transaction value on the withdrawal of Rs. 2,000 through SBI Big to BC.
