The authorities have sent a notice to the Rajiv Gandhi Charitable Trust (RGCT) on 10 thousand square meters of land used to give vocational training to women in Rae Bareli. Authorities have asked for land use answers. Officers said that land has never been given to RGCT, hence land-use documents have been sought. At the same time, the Congress says that it is an action taken from a spirit of revenge.
– SDM Ashok Shukla said in an interaction with the Indian Express, “Some land is kept separate for common public facilities such as schools, hospitals, during the consolidation. In this case, the ground girls were kept for the college.”
“In 1982, the DM of Rae Bareli wrote to the SDM letter and told that the land has been kept for the vocational training institute so that job-oriented training can be given.”
– According to the rule, the land should be in the possession of any government department or government institution, but according to the rules, there is no such paper, which proves that under the authority of the land, the use of land for the Rajiv Gandhi Mahila Vikas Project was done.”
– “If we do not get a satisfactory answer from our respective officer, we will send a final notice to the Trust and start the process of withdrawing the land.”

– BJP spokesperson Govind Singh told Amethi, “I had complained about this land a year ago, but the socialist government of East did not take any action in this matter.”
At the same time, Congress President and local representative of Sonia Gandhi MP from Rae Bareli, KL Sharma said, “Our legal advisors are looking into this matter.”
– Sharma said, “In the beginning of 1984, this land was given to the Thakur Das Trust. The land was lying vacant and after the formation of the Rajiv Gandhi Charitable Trust it was decided that the use of the land was done with the Thakur Das Trust, Training will be done. ”
Explaining the spirit of change, Sharma says, “The government is biased. Why 35 questions are raised after 35 years?”
‘Project will not stop from taking back the position of land’
– Chandrakant Dube Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi’s Representative, says, “With the help of the Rajiv Gandhi Mahila Vikas Yojana, 15 lakh women are connected to 1.25 lakh self-help groups.”
– “There is no political advantage of this.” The project will not stop by taking back the dignity of the land and we will provide training somewhere, but this action is being done with the spirit of change. ”
Sonia is Trust’s chairperson
Sonia Gandhi is the chairperson of RGCT and Rahul is a trustee. Earlier, BJP’s Amethi District Unit had alleged that the family was using Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital’s guest house for political purpose. The BJP asked the administration to respond to it.
