PATNA:There is good news for the youth of Bihar. Now they are likely to get a call center job in Patna. The country’s largest software company Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is going to open the first call center of the state (BPO) in Pataliputra industrial area of the capital. In this, about 4 thousand people will get direct and indirect jobs. This will be a big investment in the IT sector. This will create an investment climate in the state. The center will be inaugurated by Union IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad on May 10. The company will invest 100 crores in it.
TCS will have one thousand seats in the call center. The call center usually works round the clock. This center will work in three shifts. In this way, three thousand youth will get direct employment in this center.
In addition, there will be employment generation in the software, transport and house keeping areas. If the experts believe that one thousand people will get employment indirectly. Local youth will be given a job in this call center. This will be the first investment in Bihar by a large IT company. TCS Pataliputra will invest about Rs. 100 crores in the industrial area from the construction of the call center till the operation. Opening a call center only develops the market locally, but it also has an impact on the economy.
