New Delhi: The Supreme Court has ruled in the case of the nirbhaya Gangrape case. The Supreme Court has upheld the execution of the four accused of Nirbhaya. The Supreme Court termed the nirbhaya Gangrape as a ‘tsunami of shock’. The court has acknowledged all the police evidence and said that listening to the incident seems like it is an incident of another planet. Before the Supreme Court, the lower court and the High Court had sentenced the guilty to death.

Nirbhaya’s father said- Justice is justice to the entire society, we had hope from the Supreme Court. We are happy after today’s decision,Thanks to the public and the media..
Union Minister Maneka Gandhi said – I think the decision should have come early in this matter. But whatever decision has come, it is welcome.
After the decision, social activist Ranjana Kumari said: Today it looks like our struggle for Nirbhaya has been successful, it is a historic decision. I am very happy with the decision. In the case of the Supreme Court, after the decision of the Supreme Court, the applause remained.

What happened on December 16, 2012?
On December 16, 2012, 23-year-old physiotherapy student Nirbhaya went with her friend to visit the film Life of Pi. At 9.30 pm, he boarded a charter bus in Munirka, Delhi.
