Hubman Pawan Kumar, who was posted in Bihar Police, first landed in the manhole, wearing a mask of oxygen, found that both the laborers had died. After a lot of trouble, Pawan Kumar pulled both the bodies out of the drain. During this, Pawan Kumar also became a victim of poisonous gas and became unconscious. He was immediately admitted to a nearby hospital and now he is undergoing treatment.
    Police officials said that Patna, the municipal corporation has been campaigning to clean all the nallahs before the rains, under which the cleaning of the Nullah near the Income Tax Crossing was going on today. According to the police, two laborers were taken to the hospital immediately after being evacuated from the gutters. Where he was declared dead.

    According to eyewitnesses, there was no security arrangement around during the incident. Because of which both workers were delayed in saving and they died.
