patna:The patna High Court dismissed the Bihar government’s ban on alcohol-making companies for industrial use. The government had banned the licenses of such companies. On Wednesday, the full bench of three judges said that the state government has no right to make any decision regarding industrial alcohol. There is no point in the manufacture of alcoholic beverages in industrial alcohol. production of Industrial alcohol does not come under the purview of prohibition of Bihar. Government will renew the licenses of these companies from April 1, 2017.
