new delhi: Due to the tension on the border, the central government has started taking strict vigil over relations with Pakistan. On the invitation of an NGO, 47 Pakistani students who came to India under the exchange program have been asked to return. Responding to the matter, External Affairs Ministry spokesman Gopal Bagale said that this is not the right time for such exchange programs.
He said that the NGO had invited students to India to promote direct engagement between citizens of both countries. Pakistani students were part of programs to be held in India from 1st May under the Student Exchange Program.
The tour of 47 students’ delegation has been ended in the middle and with the teachers, they have been sent back to Lahore.
It is noteworthy that after the execution of Pakistani Border Action Team in Poonch in Jammu and Kashmir, after the execution of two soldiers and their dead bodies, there is an atmosphere of resentment in the country.
