new delhi: The ICC has released its latest ODI Team Rankings in which India has reached the third spot with five points in the MRF ODI Rankings, while South Africa has retained the top position. Australia is at second place.
India beat New Zealand in third place
In June, the Indian team, playing with the intention of retaining the Champions Trophy, has grabbed third place after pushing New Zealand down. India is third with 117 points and New Zealand is at number four with 115 points. Pakistan are in eighth place, while nine points behind the West Indies at number nine.
In addition, England and the next seven top ranking teams will qualify for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 directly on September 30, 2017.

Pakistan and the West Indies both have lost the number of points. Pakistan has scored 90 to 88 points, while the West Indies have moved from 83 to 79 points. Bangladesh is seventh and Sri Lanka is in sixth place. Afghanistan is tenth and Zimbabwe is 11th.
Ranking required for Pakistan and West Indies
This ranking is important in the 2019 World Cup. Rankings for Pakistan and West Indies are of great importance for direct entry into the World Cup. To qualify directly for the 2019 World R Cup, it is important to be in Top-8 till September 30, 2017. If this is not the case, qualifying matches will be played. Pakistan is currently eighth and West Indies are behind them. There is a gap of nine points between the two.
