New delhi: The 64th National Film Awards have been announced on Friday. Sonam Kapoor’s film ‘Neeraja’ has been nominated for the National Film Award for Best Film, while Akshay Kumar got the Best Actor Award for the film ‘Rustam’. Uttar Pradesh has been selected as the Most Film Friendly State.
Sonam Kapoor played Lead Roll in ‘Neeraja’ which was directed by Ram Madhavani. Ajay Devgan starrer ‘Sara’ was given the award in the Special Effects category.
Zaara Waseem, who was seen in ‘Dangal’, was also awarded the ‘Best Supporting Child Artist Award’. Let us tell you that Jaira had to face disputes in Kashmir for a long time after the film’s release. However, on this whole issue, Jaira got all the support.
An Assamese film of Sonam Kapoor’s film “Neeraja” and Adil Hussain also got a place in the Special Mention category.
