Muzaffarpur [MN]. Special police team detained 10 people, including a former minister’s brother, who was drunk on Monday night. Alcohol confirmed in the investigation by Breath Analyzer. Nagar Thanedar KP Singh said that the FIR is being filed against all these and further action is being taken.
On Monday evening, on the instructions of SSP Vivek Kumar, the city police station KP Singh raided the police team in Kedarnath Road and Kalyani area, where six people drunk were taken into custody.
They have been identified in the form of former minister’s brother Vijay Kumar Mahato as Avadh Kishore Sah, Vijay Bhagat, Premnath, Rakesh Kumar and Gopal Sah. Alcohol consumption of all these has been confirmed in the investigation. After the arrest of the former minister’s brother, there was a crowd of lobbying on the city police station till late night. But, no one’s left in front of the police.
Here, the police station of Kinti Thana has detained four people while drinking alcohol while sitting at a hotel. All of these were also examined by the machine. In the raid, there were other policemen including Durga Sudarshan Ram along with Kanti SHO.
