Muzaffarpur: Seven thousand teachers of the district have sought the right to suicide. Employed teachers have written to President, Governor and National Human Rights. Employed teachers have not taken this step due to not getting five months’ salary. In the district about seven thousand teachers are turning rounds for salaries since November. Many teachers, including State President Vanshidhar Vrishwaj of the Transformational Primary Teachers Association, have written in the letter that there is no way other than deaths in front of the teachers due to lack of salary. The government is not paying salaries. In such a situation, they should be given the right to suicide.
