Darbhanga: The railway police on Thursday arrested two people with fake notes of Rs 31 lakh while exposing a racket engaged in fake currency business. Recovered fake notes are in the form of a hundred and five hundred rupees.
Muzaffarpur Railway SP BN Jha said that the arrested gangster is the son of Gopal Mandal, a resident of Kosakipur village in Kursela police station area of Katihar district. He came here to give fake notes instead of real to Suffla Chaudhary, son of Yadunandan Chaudhary resident of Karnpur village in Rudrapur police station area of Madhubani district. The transaction of notes was to be in the outer premises of the junction.
Meanwhile, the GRP police station chief NK Singh has laid a trap and laid a trap for both. From them, get one hundred thousand rupees and one hundred fifty five hundred notes. He told that in the morning, Utay Chaudhari reached here from Katihar to give a fake note to Suffa Chaudhary.
