Bihar: Two live bombs found in Bodhgaya near Mahabodhi temple, Buddhist religious leader Dalai Lama in Bodh Gaya

Bodhgaya: In Bodhgaya, Bihar there was find two bomb near the Mahabodhi temple. Tibetan religious leader Dalai Lama is currently in Bodh Gaya, in such a situation, the police alert received by the news of the bomb. Immediately the police reached the spot and the bomb disposal squad took him along to defuse the bomb. Both the bombs were 10-10 kg.




These bombs were found in Kalachakra ground during an intensive combing operation by a police team in Bodh Gaya. In fact, there was a small explosion in a thermos near the Kalachakra ground kitchen. After the blast, the police stationed in the security forces reached there. These bombs were recovered when the surrounding areas were searched. The police immediately called the bomb disposal squad. The bomb disposal squad took with them to defuse the bombs.

The Tibetan spiritual leader had arrived in Bodh Gaya on January 1 and he is likely to stay there for a month.

A host of VIPs, including Bihar Governor Satya Pal Malik Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Hollywood actor Richard Gere have visited Bodh Gaya recently to receive blessings from the Buddhist monk.


In 2013, there was a serial blast near Mahabodhi temple. Two Buddhist monks were injured in that blast. The Indian Mujahideen had the hand in the blasts. Since that incident, security of Mahabodhi temple had been increased, but once again the bomb got found , its once again rised the question on security arrangement of Mahabodhi temple .
