Neymar fined $ 1.2 million for obstructing tax evasion

A Brazilian court has imposed a fine of 38 million rises ($ 12 million) to stave off the theft case by staging a giant football player Neymar. Under the Federal Regional Court order, this penalty applies to players from Paris Saint Germain, their parents, and their financial related companies.

Judge Carlos Muta said that Neymar and his representatives have done wrong by using appeals procedures to delay the final decision. However, Neymar’s representatives did not respond to any kind of response. Neymar, 25, of Paris Saint-Germain, is accused of tax evasion of 6.36 million rises ($ 2.004 million) from 2011 to 2013.




This is not the first time a footballer is caught in charge of tax evasion. This year, Ronaldo was also accused of stealing about 14.7 million euros of taxes. After which Ronaldo had to walk around the court several times. At the same time, Lionel Messi has been caught in a tax evasion case, in which the court sentenced him to 21 months.
