Maharashtra government should help families of stampede victims: President

President Ramnath Kovind urged the Maharashtra government on Friday to provide necessary assistance to the families of victims of an epicenter on an over bridge in Mumbai and provided medical assistance to the injured.

In a letter written to the Governor of Maharashtra, C. Vidyasagar Rao, the President said, “I am very sad to know about the incident of a stampede on the foot overbridge of Mumbai, in which many people have lost their lives and many have received serious injuries. . ‘




Kovind said, ‘My mind and my prayers are with everyone affected by accident. I am sure the state government and other agencies have taken the necessary steps to provide treatment to the mourning-affected families as well as the injured.
