Countries using terrorism as instrument of state policy: Sushma Swaraj

Swaraj said that countries using terrorism as foreign policy are giving support and shelter to terrorist organizations. He was speaking at the United Nations General Assembly meeting at the Brix Ministerial Meeting on the threat to global peace and security.




Meanwhile, Swaraj called upon all countries to take collective steps to improve the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the United Nations Security Council so that countries like North Korea, which could create a threat to the world, could be failed. . External Affairs Minister condemned terrorism as well as the countries which used religion to harbor terrorists.

Taking a dig at Pakistan , he said that the name of religion should be criticized for supporting and justifying terrorism against other countries. Terrorism should not be tolerated in any form. Swaraj also appealed for collective efforts to eliminate the network of terrorists.

Her statement comes ahead of Pakistan Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi’s address at the UN General Assembly on Thursday.

In her speech, Swaraj suggested an alliance between International Solar Alliance and New Development Bank.

“I hope we can work together to give this ambitious agenda practical shape in coming months,” Swaraj added.
