muzaffarpur: Hundred years ago, the ‘Satyagraha’ movement that was formed on Earth was going to come again ‘Bapu’. On April 10, the historic date of this movement was sown on this earth. Hundred years later, one important incident of this movement is to be placed before the world. This will be the beginning of heritage walk on Monday.
Preparations starting from today have been completed. The entire city has been reduced to Gandhi Maidan. Chowk intersection, bus stand, railway station, public places, government offices etc. have been split with the pictures related to the Champaran movement. Their important messages are being delivered to the people by banners and posters. Junction is specially decorated with Madhubani paintings. DM Dharmendra Singh reviewed the preparations with officials on Sunday. They also saw the preparation of the main event on Tuesday. It will include Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
According to the scheduled program, from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm, Bapu (Prof. Bhoj Nandan Singh will play the role) will come from the train to the platform number one of the junction. From here, he will take 25 students from Duke hostel to LS College under the leadership of Acharya JB Kripalani. In order to come here from the junction, there will be welcome from different places on behalf of the institutions. At 9 pm, they will reach the college campus. They will be welcomed here in a traditional manner. After the night break, the historic Gandhi coupe will bat. After this, ‘Bapu’ will go out on the path of agitation.
The administration has worked hard to make the program historic. The main event venue LS College has been decorated like a bride. Around 20 thousand people have been arranged for the program to be held on April 11 in the field. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will also be present to see Gandhi-Wilson talks and laser show. DM also took stock of the field in the evening. He instructed to improve the lighting. We have also taken stock of both the forums. The laser show’s presentation is fantastic to get the necessary instructions.
There is a festive atmosphere about the event. Many organizations are engaged in this work for free. Many programs will be organized on their behalf.
